Barnaby Hub is offered to Hospital Liaison Committees and Patient Visitation Groups. These terms describe what the service is, what it is not, and what each side is responsible for. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Who provides this service
Barnaby Hub is an independent project, built and maintained by active HLC members in good standing. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, or any other legal entity used by Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Nothing on this site or in the application should be read as speaking for any branch office or congregation. Where the application refers to published guidelines, it is following them as a tool, not interpreting them on anyone’s behalf.
Who may use it
Access is granted to a committee, not to the public. A committee requests onboarding, and once it is set up, its own administrators decide which of its members receive accounts and what each of them can do.
An account belongs to one person. Sign-in links and codes are sent to a member’s own email address and are not to be shared or forwarded. If a member leaves the committee, or should no longer have access, the committee’s administrators are responsible for removing them — and can do so immediately, including signing them out of every device.
Your committee’s records are your committee’s
Your committee owns what it enters. We store and protect it, and we do not sell it, mine it, use it to train anything, or share it with another committee or any outside party except the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, each of which receives only the narrow piece described there.
Every list — cases, members, doctors, facilities, congregations — exports to a spreadsheet at any time, without asking anyone. If your committee stops using the service, its space and its records are removed.
What you are responsible for
- The accuracy of what is entered
- The application records what your committee tells it. It does not verify that a patient detail, a doctor’s status, or a hospital’s policy is correct.
- Who has access
